Eastern NE KS | Your question is best answered by your local vet, especially on the disease fringes. There may be diseases that may be easily managed in your local that are a significant challenge here and vice versa.
There is not a single vaccine to cover everything.
The basics entail:
Calves:
Newborn:
Scours prevention
Over-eating
Prior to turnout:
7 or 8 way blackleg
Viral and bacterial respiratory vaccine
Pinkeye
Preweaning:
7 or 8 way blackleg
Viral and bacterial respiratory vaccine
Weaned calf booster
7 or 8 way blackleg
Viral and bacterial respiratory vaccine
Cows pre breeding:
Viral and bacterial.
Cows gestational:
Viral and bacterial booster
Scour prevention delivered to calves in mother's colostrum but the vaccine is given to their mothers prior to calving.
