Let me see.
Water logged soils
late planted crops
lost nitrogen
Stunted crops
drowned out crops
replanted and drowned out again
unable to side dress nitrogen
Lost pre applied chemical
Oh and wet soils leading to cooler and less heat units
Still waiting for the heat to help us catch up on heat units.

Having farmed through 1993, I hate to say this, I really hate to say this, but it does remind me of it especially after this next weeks forecast.
Market experts, USDA, Seed experts, end users were all in denial until the Nov crop report when stuff hit the fan.

Other years that come to mind are 1983, 1991-1992, 2018 2019. and some in between those years. Again wet years not dry years.

93 covered a bigger area, I think a few people would identify with me here (old guys).

We did Zero 92 most of acres then. July flooding really capped it off. Oh yeah, and the early frost during 2nd week of September.

I had a uncle who told me back in the 70's that you don't have a crop till its in the bin. I laughed at him then, kind of agree with him now.

Big time flooding in Missouri in 93.
1983 was a drought in Ohio as well other states, and was the year of the pic.was supposed to have the pic again in 84 but it got cancelled due to the bad crop in 83.
