jmart,the ideal time to clean brush from your field borders with crossbow is about 3 or 4 weeks before leaves decide to drop.Here its early sept.If you have a boomless nozzle or airblast it does a super job.A bit weak on evergreens is all.Doing them every other year or so really keeps the woods back,,exposes the woodchucks/deer/ to more predation and less near
your crop hiding cover,,a big plus.
