Subject: RE: dry in ILL

Same conditions here since I’d guess we’re relatively close to eachother weather wise. Stupid hot and dry but I wish I had some good pictures of our beans last week compared to now. The growth has been phenomenal, and then you factor in the weather and it’s unbelievable. Corn is rolled nice for 9 hours a day which is less than ideal but rolled corn is protecting itself so I’m not worried yet. Not losing its color or looking a little on the crispy side yet. I’m marketing like the production will be high this fall, if I’m wrong then I’ll try to buy some back on the rally. Not advice at all, just my opinion. Timely rains in July and August will make all of this disappear like last year. Granted we’re the lucky ones. We’ve been done with corn for more than 4 weeks and the small stuff is closing in on knee high. Big stuff will be shoulder high by the 4th and looking to push tassels the week of July 15th
