N. IL | We bought a basically new ArrowQuip 54 series chute for handling cows and calves (small herd). We had a Priefert chute and gate before but needed a squeeze for calves.
We had a mature cow back out of the squeezed headgate while doing an AI. Luckily she was fairly tame and could handle the situation but never want to have that happen again.
Our vet feeds cattle and has an ArrowQuip chute but changed the headgate because of this reason.
Any feedback? We love the size and durability of this chute for cows. Never thought a cow would be able to back out of a gate. | |
