Subject: Changing Dairy Industry

Cen. Pa.
I was a dairy farmer all my life and 4 years ago when I came frustrated with the business. I posted something on here.
Many people commented on how foolish I was to even think.
Someone could make a living milking 100 cows. At that time, 4 years ago everyone On here thought the number To make it worthwhile to have a dairy farm was four hundred To 8 hundred cows. They were probably right. And I decided I wasn't headed in that direction, so it was best for me and my family to just exodus the dairy business. Which we did. When I look at some of these new dairies farms Going in. I can't help but wonder if someone did want to milk cows today.
What would be a practical herd size number.
