Nw Iowa
Most water we have ever had since I have been farming. Pretty big area. Don’t want to get back yard itis, but we will lose a minimum of 10%, bigger issue is what it is doing to the rest of the crop and fact that by time this clears out we won’t be able to get that crop of beans on drowned out acres like we usually do. I have said before but alot of our tiled ground just has no where for outlets to go as water so high. Have been 30-40 bu over aph last couple of years and with perfect weather from here on out we will be 30-40 bu under. The big yields always comes from the lower heavier well drained bottoms so the 10% we have lost equals more like 15% of the yield plus the stuff that survives but is just yellow that yields half.
