S Illinois		There are two differing scales. At the field level, the high spots obviously won’t make up for the drowned out spouts for record yields. However not every field everywhere has to be a record for the US to have a new national record.

Many of the news stations in that area are reporting the worst flooding since 2014 or topping that year when flooding occurred at the same time of year in June in the exact same area. 2014 was also a record national yield year and the first year of 170+ national yield.

This is not to diminish the damage occurring or predicting a 2014 type summer.
