Malta, Illinois		I'm not going to say you are wrong but right now I am not going to worry about markets when people are losing their homes. I think a weather event of this magnitude is bound to affect final crop size in specific areas but I don't know just how many acres we are talking about either. Even acres that are not drowned out or water damaged will suffer nitrogen loss in corn. Other areas of the cornbelt have been a little on the dry side but some pockets have been getting some rain. I think the trade sticks to their rain makes grain mantra short term and markets slide even further.
