Farmington, Mo | Had a good week at the county fair! Kids did well with their spot and Poland pigs…they sold well at the sale…thank you to FCS Financial, Farmington Regional Stockyards and Tucker Concrete and Excavating!
To top it all off, Tracy Byrd came to help celebrate the last night of the 150th annual St Francois County Fair…great show and even better yet, the wife and I got to meet him! The personalized guitar with his handwritten lyrics to Keeper of the Stars wasn’t shabby either! He’s a class act too…came over to the junior exhibitor awards banquet and did a meet n greet with the kids and posed for a group photo…cool experience for all involved!
Our fair, albeit small and a little backward, was a big part of my life as a kid and now I hope my kids can grow to love it like I did! Sure helped me get started in my life and career…thanks to all who support youth livestock projects and the 4-H/FFA kids all across the country!!
