Central Indiana | Rain was forecasted well in advance of trade close and with numbers projecting 14+ inches even being 50% wrong on forecasted amounts would be detrimental to a crop in various growing stages. 7” of rain is a disaster and some areas well over 20” of rain. Don’t underestimate the power of traders and their knee jerk reactions to forecasted weather events days before the event happens. | |
