Hot weather could be making him yo-yo intake. Don’t know what or how much you are feeding them but might be wise to put a little grass hay to bulk up their gut up a little.
Pure runs sounds a lot like a lot of corn or too much molasses. Make sure they have bovatec in their protein somehow
