We’re hauling all the grain we can out of the riverbottom down here over the next couple days. Only projected to hit 24’, but that’s way too close for comfort for us. 2019 hit 28.1’ here locally.

The more concerning part is that the river is going to be very high and a couple days of rain is forecasted for us at the same time. All the creeks and drainage ditches will already be backed up and bank full due to the Missouri being full. Getting 2” of rain when there’s 0 storage for it is a bad deal.

Hope y’all are doing alright up there, old timer told us once that a drought can thin you down but a flood will kill ya. Neither a drought nor a flood is good, but the damage a flood leaves behind is a real nasty mess
