Sioux Falls, SD | The photo from the drone is pictures of my fields. Both sides of the road and south of tracks. The left drains to the right. There is two 48 and a 36 that go under the road to a 6ft box culvert. The filed on the left takes water from all directions and gets funneled through one. It was bad in 10-13-14-18-19-21 but never this bad. I put 130k plus feet of tile in it in 2015 (20k hours on the pump, 1200 gal/min), but obviously tile wont help with this. I is almost a years worth of precip (27ish is ave) in 5 days with the bulk of it in 36 hours. A lot of fields if split by a waterway, we will have to go around the section now. Just one big mess. | |
