| Iastfan112 - 6/23/2024 20:52 Locally 2013 bad. I do think to hit 2013 levels though you would need a good long stretch of hot and dry. Drought maps never looked impressive but after the cool wet spring 4-5 weeks of hot and mostly dry was killer.
I partially agree with this, HOWEVER- for a state average, 2014 was poor as well at 178. And there was no stretch of hot and dry. And I'm not talking with backyarditis, as in 2014 I was in one of the only two counties in the state where everything was amaze-balls and the county did 200. Still my personal, and the county, best corn crop. And in 2021, we got beat to hell May-June and almost nothing in August and it sucked.
