SCMN | Been thinking about buying a higher hr tmr tractor from a larger dairy for bailing and hauling manure for myself. I'd say in the range of 11-13k hrs on a 7-10 year old tractor. besides a lot of pto time is running a tmr really that hard on tractors? I couldn't imagine the transmission taking a beating and the motor itself most likely has a lot of idle time on it. For what some of these tractors sell for is it worth the risk vs finding one off a row crop farm and paying quite a bit more? | |
