Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251 | I would try and see what size TMR it was running, and type of loads. I have noticed guys often undersize the tractor, and oversize the load on a TMR. That can lead to pto clutch early failure, and hydraulic problems down the road.
As far as idle time, my tmr tractor works an hour and a half each day,. Other than warm up, and cool down, it is working the rest of the time it's running with very little idle time - when opening gates, etc.
