southern MN | Yea, everyone has a flashing light, so they aren’t noticed so much any more.
Then everyone gets a brighter flashing light to demand attention….
Gets to the point you can’t see because there are so many flashing bright lights.
Even the latest regulation on brake lights. They have gotten so bright out in the dark rural country roads I’m getting blinded by brake lights. Sure I notice them, but it’s all I can see can’t see to know where to slow dow anymore.
But the new oh way cool blinkers, every vehicle has to have some sculpted contoured blinker strip now. For the few people still using blinkers, often can’t discern them any more because they are more decorative than functional.
Even if you try to be observant, there is no consistency any more.
To the original point of this thread, I feel for the folk trying to do their job on the side of a road. Usually that is a stressful event on its own, now with the new norm for driving ‘me first and fastest’ I don’t know where one can function.
