Watching 10th Gen Farmer and their unloader is "hard-wired", so they don't have to drag the power cable up/down/around. Seems like that would be a nice upgrade.

Also, they have a camera on the unloader, which would be handy.


I considered the hard wire option. I figured there would be some voltage drop because you are essentially doubling the length of wire. 200' vs 100'. Voltage drop = more amps = more heat = shorter motor life. Plus the cost of another 100' of wire.

I could add it later if I change my mind.
