One thing I’ve seen with several people we have dealt with is a UTI can really make them hallucinate. One aunt would suddenly imagine another room in her house with a stranger living in it. When she starts being loopy we instantly know that she has a UTI. My wife’s grandmother also had similar episodes when she had a uti.
