NW Indiana | I'm not comparing this to the 2020 derecho as far size of impact by any means but look how long it took the market to figure out something that obvious...... the next two days were essentially flat in price and then finally after the report came out on the 12th the traders decided to start buying. Got a 15 cent rally and then flat for several more days. Then just a steady slow climb into harvest. That was the market reaction to a few million acres blowing flat. The traders aren't going to get real excited about flooding in any kind of a hurry. | |
