Subject: RE: Need Advice on Side by Sides

North central TX
Bought a new one this spring. Had a polaris ranger 2 door. Went with a kawasaki mule pro fxt 1000 4 door. Was looking at the Can-am, Polaris, and Kawasaki. Been around several of the mules and they've always been tough as nails. The price point was several thousand cheaper on the mule than either of the others. I also like that the bed is extendable in the mule by folding the rear seats down. Allows me to have a more compact machine and still have full size bed or 4 doors whenever I need. The redesigned 1000 mule is also able to run higher road speeds( I've had mine up to 50 downhill but still in the break-in period so I haven't pushed it) than the previous versions so the long range travel speed isn't the issue it used to be. Edit to add it's also significantly quieter than my 2012 ranger which is nice.

All in all I've been very pleased with ours but we just now have 20 hrs on it, so it's pretty early in.
