Any estimates on the acres lost to flooding?

Any chance of planting beans in any of your ground or is it likely to be way too late by the time it gets dried out?

2014 we planted beans in drown out corn acres I believe on July 3rd.      Would have been really good beans (probably 50+) if we hadn't had an early frost that year.   I think they ended up making something like 30 bpa of immature lima beans that took forever to dry down.

July 3 is only 9 days away so we'll see what happens.   In 2014 I think the flooding happened about a week earlier than it did this year and it wasn't nearly as bad as this year.   1st the river needs to get back in its banks, then the dead pools need to dry up, so we'll see.

Could maybe do some oats or something to get a cutting of hay later and keep the weeds in check.   IDK, we'll see what happens.
