NW in. | That's what got is in 83, we had moisture but we had a week of 105 high temperatures and windy. The corn looked good but it dried so fast that it killed the tassels, they turned brown in three days so pollination was horrible. Had silks hanging a foot out of the ear waiting for pollen. Good looking corn plants with few kernels. I don't think the new hybrids could of handled that. | |
