NW Indiana
There are hybrids that are considered western, eastern, southern and northern. Some are a mix. I have planted western hybrids in my area and during a hot dry year they excelled over the easterns. Most years with normal weather an eastern hybrid will do much better in my area then the westerns. So yes some hybrids like the heat much better than others.
