Be at the next board meeting and voice your opinion.
Ask to see a copy of their contract, as a member, you are entitled.
There are companies out there that do accounts receivable
, and receive the late fees and service charges as part of their contract.
They are notably slow to “post to your account”.
Then next month you automatically are charged a
Service charge/late fee.
Vicious cycle.
To top it off, they will ding your credit score as as late pay.
+1 and politely ask if there is a way to 'see' your bill online (with option to pay same bill). I don't have water, but my other utilities are that way. If I don't have the bill because of USPS, at least I know about what time of month I get them. |
