Read an article today in the newspaper sports page, umpire in major leagues being investigated for betting.
Gambling will effect sports leagues. There was an NBA ref that went to prison just a few years ago, but not a lot of press about it. One or two judgement calls late in a game can affect the outcome.
There's been some very questionable football officiating that makes a guy wonder if its being influenced by gambling.
