I just put these on my 569. I haven’t baled any since I put them on though.
Heard about those in a Facebook group. A ridiculous-sounding solution for less than $50, so it probably came from a farmer and not an engineer. We put those on a 569 and had zero net wrap snags after that (which weren't operator-induced or caused by a small rock on the last 2-3" of the bale.) There were no burrs or anything on the rolls each time we checked. Had been snagging 10% of the bales randomly before that, even when making them only 66" and calibrated for size properly.
Went back to making 72" bales after that with no net wrap problems. |
