North Central IL | Nationally. Last year the local crop went in perfectly and early. June was awful. Our corn was below aph and beans were a record. I'd never bank on record beans two consecutive years, but at this point I don't see why the corn crop won't be better. It didn't go in perfectly. Seems many fields were a day too early, but it looks decent enough for now. If the rains keep coming. Some of the dry regions caught rains recently, and the 8-14 maps show rain. | |
