It would empty my bins.
I am not sure if locking in basis right now is good.
I was going to March as that is the lowest price month.
O e should probably just go to July next year and be done.
I have price risk either way.
I can put the money in a cd or T bill and pick up the interest.
I understand. But outside of basis risk, and the cost of money opportunities, it's a sideways move on your balance sheet. If beans drop a buck, the net effect is the same. There are no free lunches unfortunately.
