| Probably accurate for western Canada. Crops a few weeks behind due to low heat units. But I suppose we are still making a bumper crop. What's that saying? Best yields come from the earliest seeded crops. Will have to see how that plays out with slow development. All though we could get very hot and dry things out in July and that will speed things up. Maybe that is the ticket to a bumper crop. Keep in mind that last year a good part of western Canada had issues with a dry spring and so the vegetation data for last year would be starting with that when drawing a comparison to this year. | |
