With all the rain we've had it was nice to have a beautiful sunny day today (Wednesday) to cut some remaining first crop on a small, unfertilized, grass pasture/hay field. Now hear there's a 90% chance of more thunderstorms on Friday. So looks like mow today, rake, bale and wrap tomorrow by sunset. A lot of stems and seed pods but there seems to be a good layer of leafy grass near the ground. As the saying goes, will be better than eating snowballs in January. I really like this JD 630 moco with rubber rolls even though I do need to go round and round to the right! It has held up well in some very uneven ground. A very heavy duty unit. Fits my STO operation.
