My sacrifice paddock in the spring sometimes has a decent amount of alfalfa, we usually work it and replant a grass alfalfa mix back in has always worked good, your results may vary. Parts of it may be replanted in a week or two, usually a little longer, have never noticed a difference based mon how long it was stomped up or not.
