With “modern drainage and tile” I don’t think every acre they claim is a loss. Reduced yield, ya. But how many acres are actually under water for many, many continuous days? And how many of those acres are bottom ground that normally have water or flooding problems ?
I think a more accurate statements and questions would be - “how many acres of low ground will not recover?” And “how many acres of dead pot holes are now in your field?”.
Any accuracy or truth to the news this morning with the flooding?
