2.25 to 2.5 wraps on hay. More wraps for straw and cornstalks.

Used cover edge the first couple years and then went to edge to edge. Sure they look nicer but I don’t think they store any better then the edge to edge.

Switched to Tama(same as Deere) and never had any issues. Not sure what brand it was but the coop had a sale so tried that and like you said over winter all the net wrap deteriorated on the south side. Not sure who makes new holland wrap but that’s good. Vermeer wrap is good but I don’t like how it covers the bale. Just been sticking with Tama wrap.

If there is a blow out it’s either buildup on a roller or didn’t stop the baler in time. That little extra will pop the bale. I’m sure we could add more wraps to avoid that.

Will push close to 200 bales out of the 9800 foot roll. This is for 4ft bales. I know Deere makes two different length rolls for 4ft and 5ft bales.
