NE Nebraska | We felt safe the entire trip. It was my husband and I, our son and his girlfriend (now wife), Jorge (tour coordinator) and our driver. When outside the cities of Buenos Aires and Rosario we definitely needed a translator. The one night we arrived late at the Casino/Resort and ordered our meal. Jorge ate and retired for the night leaving us in the restaurant. Once done eating staff pointed us to the check-in area where we tried to indicate we wanted to pay. We pointed out to them what we had eaten and they asked our room number and we thought they'd just charge the meal to our room. Instead, they thought we were placing an order so about 20 minutes later room service delivered the exact duplicate of the meal we'd previously eaten. Nowadays we could use our smart phone to translate, but we didn't have that capability back then. | |
