NEMO | I always get a kick out of "real cowboys". I can't say I know of one single cow operation in a broad circle that even has a horse. Ya, I know, that means we're just really hobby guys and don't know how to do it right, but what the heck. A 12' alleyway, good sorting stick, good cow sense, cows that have somewhat been selected on disposition (not your run of the mill wild ass Angus),,,and who needs a horse? Out on a big range, sure, get a horse. In MO, learn how to move cows on foot, a 5 gallon bucket works great. | |
