belding, MI | Without knowing when you calve it's hard to say. Last year we were able to run on stalks until the Christmas time when it got to muddy and we started them on full feed. When they were grazing stalks they got 1lb per head of DDG and slowly worked up to 3lb as the stalks got worse. We calve in February so last year I was pretty limited on places to move them to get more time grazing and keep them close to the barn for calving. I'm north east of grand rapids, mi | |
