Subject: RE: Field IQ Rate

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Raven uses Pin 3 & 4, normally green and yellow wires for the control valve. In Manual, with the Master and at least one section on, holding the INC/DEC one direction should cause a butterfly type control valve to turn one direction until it hits its limit switch. Pushing the INC/DEC switch the other direction should cause a butterfly type control valve to turn in the opposite direction until it hits that limit switch. To go from one extreme to the other should take 8 seconds.

You ask about checking for Power. Set a multi-meter to DC voltage. Put one probe on the green wire and the other probe on the yellow wire. The voltage should read Zero. Then with the system set to manual, Master switch ON, and at least one section switch ON, push and hold INCrease. The meter should read +12V or -12V. If you push the switch to DECrease you should see the opposite reading.

This is assuming you are using a Raven motorized control valve in the product line and have EZ-Boom setup accordingly. There are other possibilities. A picture of your plumbing would be helpful.
