Western MN | I thought going that quick would be trouble down the road as well. We have chunks of cob, corn leaves, and ground corn in the tank. I should mention as well we still have the 9660 and when the 9770 broke down last corn harvest for a day we put the 9660 on again and got a nice sample! 97 got fixed and went back to it and back to a poor sample. Wind was wide open, and the rest from memory without looking at the combine was rotor 330, top 13 or so, bottom wide open, concave 32. We aren’t getting docked at the local ethanol plant or anything like that but I know we can get a better sample because I’ve seen the 96 do it. We ended last fall on a 210 bu./ac field that was 16 to 17%. | |
