When my son and I dream of a larger shop…..I tell him about my early days of working on a manure spreader apron, outside, high of zero that day.
Laying on cardboard over the snow. No heated place to pull it into.
It only happened once but that’s the stuff legends are made of. Walking uphill both ways to go to the one room schoolhouse….my mom talks about doing that. Lol
Even with a shop it’s not always feathers and roses. When you’re in there at 3am after starting the day at 6am and needing to start the next day at 6am also, it becomes its own uphill both ways story looking back at it.
