Wood deck, steel perimeter. I can fasten down to the wood deck, or run tie-downs to the perimeter. I was looking for a way to make it faster and eliminate messing with straps. That is why I was thinking about angle-iron on each side - perpendicular to the trailer deck, and making a "track" to drop them in.
