So we have a fresh ground. Down to bear clean metal on the front middle and back on the frame rail. It hasn’t made a difference unfortunately. It’s like the light socket itself is letting power pass through and feedback to plug through the signal wires.


See my other response, but you may be right. The light socket itself may not be grounding to the light housing properly, letting voltage feed back through. Either try running a jumper from the socket itself to a good ground, or replace the light socket/housing. I'd bet even money that is where your problem is. I've actually had a couple taillight sockets get a loose/bad ground and it did similar things to what you describe.
