Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Not exactly the same but I've seen where an end gate assembly for a truck box was used. A hole was cut into one of the inner access door panels and the end gate assembly was bolted on. The access door could still be closed for weather protection.

To remove grain the outer access door was opened and a temporary chute was installed to divert the grain to a hopper on an auger. The flow of grain could be regulated with the handle on the end gate assembly.

A concern might be uneven emptying since the grain would not be level as grain is removed with either approach. This could cause unacceptable pressure on the high side of the bin. Bins with side dump assemblies often have a method to reduce this uneven withdrawl to reduce those stresses.
