Saronville NE | Most my grass bales weigh 1450-1600. Alfalfa 1500-1650 and 4th cut usually close to 2k.
I've ran Vermeer biggest POS ever owned. Never own another.
Tried NH. For tightness and wrap they were top notch. But even the specialty crop would not keep up with a JD for speed. Fairly close if dry. If tough spots ahead of rain etc and saying it's close nuff and going to toll it up. JD will run circles around the NH 7090 in those conditions. Also our NH and several neighbors also. We had CV joint go about every 4k bales on NH. It's dinky CV vs Jd. I grease CV every single day on NH we even did twice a day with problems we had.
Overall I'll still stick with the JD. Mainly due to like other night it was 615 when had bottom gate roller bearing go. Got parts at JD that night yet had baler together by 9 and rolled up another 40 acres of alfalfa before a rain the next morning. I can't do that with Vermeer or NH here. | |
