West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | My thoughts as well. We had a couple A&L grain carts back in the late 70's early 80's with 34 ply, 250 MPH rated tires. They were pulled behind a tandem truck empty from MN to OK and back several times and carted quite a few bushels of wheat and corn in the field with little to no tread. I'm guessing the tires are probably still in use if the carts are still being used. Field floatation is almost nonexistent with airplane tires. |
