John Pullen's book "The Twentieth Maine" is a fine account of the Maine
regiment that saved the left flank of the Union forces during Pickett's charge,
after having fought at Antietam and Chancellorsville as well. Commanding
officer Joshua Chamberlain survived the war, even after having many horses
shot out from under him. (Many, many!)
