Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I set up one of these for a test. It is a 3/8" tubing connector with a plug. I drilled and tapped a 3/8" hole in a standard cap since a predrilled cap was about $10 more than a plain cap. If it works, I will just tap my present caps.
It fits the end of the boom nicely but I don't know how easily it will be to remove the "plug" for cleaning. The locking collar needs to be released and it may have "dug" into the plug quite deeply.
Later edit: I decided that the above could work but it is difficult to remove the tubing plug. It is not really designed to be removed on a regular basis. I am now going to try a nozzle body adapter and a nozzle cap. I feel this will be more suitable for removing and reinstalling the cap. Pictures to follow.
