Subject: RE: Trying to make hay

Cut the first 1st crop a week ago today, baled it Thursday, was mostly pretty dry I think, but it clouded over so was a bit tough to say the least, cut Saturday and baled that yesterday, so now 1/2 done baling, no bales moved yet, but now raining again and have made all the dryest fields so now it is the ones with waterways in so not sure how that will work out. Hay with quack in did not look too bad, but the fields with the darn orchard grass in were kind of mature, alfalfa is sort of coarse, not a lot of flowers because the weevils chewed the top of the plants off first part of June and it started growing out from that point again. Looks like there may be an opportunity to cut again middle of next week, may look a lot different next week LOL!!!
