SW Iowa | Started trying to resurrect the AC system in my 1995 Volvo WIA I bought last fall. The truck is in great shape and has only 600k miles. This truck will/should last me a while and I think it'd be worth investing in getting the AC going (especially since my dad drives the most in the fall). Given previous ownership I would guess it's been 10 years or better since the AC ran. I started by evacuating the system, pulling vacuum on the lines, which it seems to be holding. I'm going to test the compressor clutch today but I went into this assuming I'd need a new compressor, drier, and possibly expansion valves. Can anybody point me to where to go next, where the expansion valves, pressure switches are, and the system's total capacity? The system is R134A and the compressor is a Sanden 4627. Thanks | |
